I am Amanda Laboy, a designer for the Theme Team.

I have always been a saver of photos and memorabilia, but have been actively scrapping for the seven years.

I always say I am a teacher by day (6th grade), but a scrapper by heart because in the past year, this hobby has turned into an all-out passion of mine. I consider it my therapy. I love the creative rush I get as a page comes together. I love trying new things and pushing myself to "think outside the box".

I am obsessed with patterned paper and chipboard and consider my Xacto knife to be my new "best friend".

Currently I live in SW Oklahoma with my husband, Jose, to whom I have been happily married for seven years. We have one son, also named Jose, who turned five this past spring.

I am so excited to be a Sweetheart! I am honored for the opportunity to motivate, challenge and inspire others here at ScrapLovers.
