Day 14 – some mantle fun
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 22:53Posted in category 31 Days Of Halloween
I am trying to figure out what to put on the mantle for Halloween and these little darlings just came to me – plus, I was looking for a reason to use my Martha Stewart border punch!
These little decorations were super easy…I took a sheet of fall/halloween paper and cut strips 3″ x 10″ and then used the border punch to create a fun edge on the paper. Added a bit of glue and created a tube and popped an electric votive in them…please don’t do this with a live flame
I took several pictures not sure which is the best…hope you enjoy! I love how you can see the pattern on the paper!

All of your Halloween projects are so cute but this one has got to be my favorite. It meets my criteria of easy to make and just so cute.
