To catch up – days 88 and 89 were spent just relaxing nothing exciting just hanging around the house…

Today the last day of my 90 day project I was quite crafty – Amy came over and we did zine stuff – much progress was made!!

We were helped by Val – one the zine work was done Val and I chatted while we had some crafty time! I worked on a project for the upcoming 30 days of Halloween blog series

I am so happy!! I just got a new stack of fat quarters and they are just perfect to be made into handbags or a quilt – guess I know what I am doing this weekend!

Today I have been trying to finish a canvas for a special project – but I think it is time to walk away and let it mull over in my mind

Today was all about catching up – I went thru mail, I responded to email, I added product to the store, I pulled orders – it felt good!

I realized today that I love to collect things – I guess I should have known this by now My latest focus has been bumper stickers – I have added three to my car in the last month and several more to my “stash” – some are just fun others are political – there is just something about how you can tell a story in such a small space that makes me love them

Amy and I are at it again and this time the zine is going to be very special and very unique – so special in fact that we will only be making 33 of them for sale.

Today was not creative in the traditional sense – rather I had to use my creative packing skills to get all of the product packed up and ready for shipping out tomorrow!!

I am caught up on pulling and can move on to adding new product to the store.

Here are a couple of pictures of the boxes that will hit the postal stream tomorrow – and yes the giant boxes are full of sale goodies – one box has 50lbs of paper

update – i figured it out it’s day 82 of Summer!!

I have totally lost track of what day of Summer it is – I will figure it out at some point but for now I am happy to be creating – today I am working on a quilt that I set a side before summer began – pictured below is the work in progress

I have been one busy camper between travels and the sale orders that I haven’t have a chance to post here on the blog…I have promised myself that I will get back on track next week:)  Be on the look out for lots of updates.

So I am finally getting a chance to get caught up…starting on day 58 I was out of touch with everything because I got a major headache.  I couldn’t really do much of any thing.  So day 58 and 59 are a blur.

Finally I had to get out of the house so on day 59 I went on an antique adventure with my friend Sharon.  We had quite a successful outing.  My best find was a cool toast holder with a butter dish and salt and pepper shakers.

Day 61 the headache was back so i just chilled around the house

Day 62 Amy came over and we cleaned up the zine room and plotted out the next zine which is going to be simply amazing!!

Day 63 I met up with Madeline for a cupcake at Kara’s

Day 64 i pulled orders and went to Pilates

Day 65 Coffee/Lunch with Karen and a trip to the dr’s to get something to kill the migraine dead

Day 66 The migraine pills worked but they made me sleep and silly

Day 67 So happy that the headache was gone – went to Pilates, had lunch with Amy at Mr. Falafel and then did zine stuff – we made stacks and stacks of papers

Day 68 Up early to pull orders, pack and get ready to hit the skys…flew to Austin, Mackey picked me up and off to College Station we went.

Day 69 Hanging at the hotel in College Station – did some grocery shopping and a bit of work
